Weekend Herb Blogging solicited a number of fabulous posts this week, using a wide range of vegetables and herbs. This event was originally started by Kalyn of Kalyn's Kitchen, and is now organized by Haalo of Cook (almost) Anything At Least Once. For more information, see the rules, hosting schedule, and weekly recaps for WHB.
Without further ado, here are the entries that I received:
Graziana from Erbe in Cucina provides great information on Storing Dandelion Buds
Alice from Bits of Taste tells about the benefits of eating turmeric and lemon grass and then makes Turmeric Fragrant Butter Rice
Toni from Daily Bread Journal gives us a great recipe for Black Chicken that features Chinese herbs and kaffir lime leaves
Muneeba from An Edible Symphony sent in a recipe for Fresh Corn and Confetti Salad with Smoked Aged Cheddar that is perfect for summer BBQs
Katerina from Daily Unadventures in Cooking gets creative with rhubarb to create Rhubarb and Manuka Honey Frozen Yogourt
Joanne from Eats Well With Others made two types of blueberry muffins for a Battle of the Bluebs
Brii from Briiblog used lots of veggies in a Bulghur and Quinoa Salad
Kalyn from Kalyn's Kitchen was inspired by fresh mozzarella and created a Tomato, Olive, and Fresh Mozzarella Salad with Basil Vinaigrette
And finally, I managed to find another way to use onions in an Onion Quiche with Brown Rice Crust
And just when you thought we were done, we have one final entry (sorry it's a late addition - there was a problem with emails):
Cinzia from Cindystar sends us a Garlic Dip that goes very well with Fish
Thanks to everyone who participated this week! Next week's Weekend Herb Blogging will be hosted by Graziana from Erbe in Cucina. Send her your posts to her at scrivi AT ilmeglioincucina DOT it, and be sure to include a photo 300 px wide (for more info, see the rules).

Awesome variety in this round-up! Great job :) Some of those pics are really good ... and that spinach-feta cake is particularly interesting .. I'm gonna go check out the blogs these recipes belong to. (even mine, time for my daily check!)
Thank you so much for hosting Katie. A lot of innovative and creative recipes. Worth checking some of these blogs which are new to me.
I agree - everyone was extremely creative this week, and I discovered some very interesting blogs. It was a great first hosting experience!

Hi, great round-up!
My entry was about dandelion buds, not bulbs... I don't think dandelion has bulbs :)
Kalyn and haleysuzanne - It was a great collection of posts! I enjoyed being continually surprised and impressed by the emails that I received all week :)
Cindystar - I've now added your post. Sounds great!
Graziana - I'm so sorry!! It seems like I would have noticed that dandelions don't have bulbs. Anyway, I've now fixed this. Thanks for pointing it out.
A wonderful selection of ingredients and ideas - thanks so much for hosting Katie!
